Meet Mel
Hi, I’m Mel — the face, baker and slightly cookie-obsessed person behind Mel’s Confectioneries.
I’ve always loved feeding people and creating treats that make people genuinely excited to take that first bite. For me, it’s not just about making something sweet — it has to taste really good.
Mel’s Confectioneries is where I get to turn that love into something of my own. I’m constantly baking, testing and playing with new flavours, from big, indulgent cookies to buttery shortbread, smooth vanilla fudge and my signature salted caramels.
I love taking familiar flavours and giving them a little Mel twist — sometimes nostalgic, sometimes completely unexpected, but always made to be the kind of treat you’re already thinking about ordering again before you’ve finished the first one.
Behind the treats, I’m also a wife, a mom of two, and someone who genuinely loves seeing people enjoy something I’ve made.
